Swamp Leatherflower (Clematis crispa), Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, South Carolina

Most spring wildflowers in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida bloom in February - April. Traveling in the region in May - June was too late to see the annual bloom, so I did not focus on plant photography on this trip. Nevertheless, I took photos of some plants and swamp flowers I came across, shown on this page. A few of the flowers are invasive species to the region.

I have tried to ID the plants, but some of them are almost certainly wrongly named. So keep that in mind. Corrections are welcomed.
